• Headlamp with extra batteries (preferably not a flashlight)
• Scout Uniform

• Compass and Map of Area
• Pocketknife (less than 3” blade)
• Sun-Tan Lotion
• Small Camera
• Miscellaneous spending money ($10 maximum)
• Clothing
  • Sturdy outdoor shoes (not new)
  • 2^nd pair of hiking or stiff soled Tennis shoes (not new)
  • Extra socks
  • Baseball cap or hat
  • Raincoat or Waterproof Poncho, rain pants
  • Jacket or coat
• Trail food
• Assigned Food
